New Year Celebrations – Edinburgh
Hogmanay is the Scottish word for the last day of the year and is generally regarded as the most important Scottish holiday.
In Edinburgh the celebration (as well as in other places in Scotland) lasts for about 3 days.
There are many events over this period, the princess street gardens concert and fireworks attracts over 250,000 people.
CREXCELL are at the heart of this festival, providing expertise and staff, ensuring a safe and well managed event.
Highlighted as one of the ‘Top 100 things to do before you die’. It is also the only festival to appear in the ‘Discovery Channel – Top 25 World Travel Experiences’
Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party is one of the world’s greatest New Year celebrations.
As the bells strike midnight, join hands with friends from across the globe in the world’s biggest rendition of Auld Lang Syne!
A tradition originated in Scotland celebrated all over the world.
As well as the famous princess gardens street party there are many other events and celebrations all over the city.
Is one of Edinburghs busiest times, literally millions of visitors.
CREXCELL are at the centre of this event, working with Edinburgh council and event organisers to provide services like traffic management, security and stewarding to ensure the event runs smoothly and people are kept safe.
