Clique is a British thriller television series created by Jess Brittain, starring Synnøve Karlsen and Rachel Hurd-Wood.[1] It was filmed in Edinburgh.
Plot of the clique: Georgia and Holly, childhood friends, have just started their university years in Edinburgh, the so-called best years of their lives. However, Georgia becomes involved in an elite clique of alpha girls (Fay, Phoebe, Louise, and Rachel), with lecturer Jude McDermid as their leader, only a few weeks into their time at university.
What she discovers is a seductive world of lavish parties, populated by Edinburgh’s highest-powered business men and women. But Holly exposes its deeply corrupt core, revealing a world underpinned by sordid compromise, and the danger mounts from all angles for both her and Georgia. Holly’s own dark past also threatens to resurface.
The plot and scenes range over many parts of Edinburgh and its Iconic buildings and streets.
